The Technology Behind GoMaps Basic and GoMaps Advanced
GoMaps uses ArcGIS Server, an advanced technology that allows website users to interact with the application much faster than previously. ArcGIS Server uses map caching, which means that when your browser "asks" for a map, the server sends it a map that's already been created. This reduces server load as well as network traffic and makes this a much faster and more user-friendly website.
