The Henderson County Flood Damage Prevention Local Program is led by Natalie J. Berry P.E. and Toby Linville.
Essential Departmental Functions: The Flood Damage Prevention Local Program is responsible for the Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance and complaints for all unincorporated areas of Henderson County. The City of Hendersonville, Village of Flat Rock, Town of Laurel Park and Town of Fletcher have their own local program and should be contacted if your property is located in their jurisdiction. The Town of Mills River does not have a local program. The State of North Carolina Flood Insurance Program can assist with questions for the Town of Mills River and can be reached at (919) 715-5711.
